What makes INDIBA's 448 kHz frequency different from other radiofrequency treatments?
Most radiofrequency treatments operate at frequencies that heat tissue indiscriminately to cause controlled damage, triggering a wound-healing response. INDIBA’s patented Proionic® System operates at exactly 448 kHz — a frequency shown through decades of research to optimise ionic exchange across cell membranes without causing tissue damage.
This precise frequency restores the natural electrical balance of cells, improving oxygen flow, nutrient transport, and tissue regeneration. The result is biostimulation — your cells actively regenerate — rather than repair. This is why INDIBA can achieve meaningful skin and tissue improvements while remaining completely pain-free, with no downtime.
INDIBA’s approach also stimulates four distinct biological processes: biostimulation (collagen activation), vascularisation (circulation improvement), and both thermal and sub-thermal effects for deep and surface-level tissue renewal.
Can INDIBA treat both face and body concerns, and can it be combined with other treatments at Yanzi?
Yes — INDIBA is one of the most versatile aesthetic technologies available, with clinically proven applications across both face and body. For the face, INDIBA addresses wrinkles, skin laxity, uneven texture, dark circles, and loss of facial contour. For the scalp, it supports hair growth and follicle health. For the body, it targets cellulite, localised fat, skin laxity, and stretch marks — and is exceptional for post-surgical recovery.
INDIBA combines exceptionally well with other treatments at Yanzi. It can be used alongside Sofwave for complementary skin tightening, with ENDYMED or ALMA for multi-layered skin remodelling, and before or after medical aesthetic procedures like dermal fillers to accelerate healing and optimise results. For post-surgical clients, INDIBA is specifically approved by clinicians for use before and after body procedures to reduce inflammation and improve tissue quality.
How is DeepRES R6 different from a standard INDIBA handpiece treatment — and which should I choose?
Both treatments use the same proven 448 kHz Proionic® science — the key difference is how that energy is delivered and which areas each excels at treating.
Standard INDIBA uses a therapist-guided handpiece that moves across the skin, making it ideal for the face, scalp, neck, and smaller contoured areas where precision and directional movement matter. It offers both Capacitive (CAP) and Resistive (RES) modes, targeting both superficial and deep tissue layers.
DeepRES R6 is the world’s first 448 kHz Static Radiofrequency system, applying six Smart RES electrodes simultaneously across a larger body area — delivering perfectly even, hands-free energy with no variation in coverage. It was designed specifically for larger zones such as the abdomen, thighs, flanks, and back. Its integrated Smart Temperature Technology monitors all six channels in real time.
In short: choose INDIBA for face, scalp, and precision body areas. Choose DeepRES R6 for body contouring, cellulite, and skin tightening across broad areas. Many clients benefit from both in the same treatment plan.
What does a DeepRES R6 session actually feel like, and is there any recovery time needed?
DeepRES R6 is consistently described by clients as one of the most relaxing aesthetic treatments they have experienced. The six Smart RES electrodes are positioned across the treatment area and secured comfortably before the session begins. Once activated, clients feel a gentle, progressive warmth that builds to a deeply satisfying, pervasive heat — comparable to a heated stone massage, but working far beneath the skin’s surface.
The Smart Temperature Technology continuously monitors and adjusts thermal output across all six channels, ensuring the heat never becomes uncomfortable and the therapeutic temperature is maintained throughout. Sessions typically last 45 to 90 minutes depending on the treatment area. Many clients fall asleep.
There is absolutely no downtime following a DeepRES R6 treatment. You can return immediately to work, exercise, or social activities. Some clients notice a mild warmth in the treated area that resolves within hours. No special aftercare is required.
How does Sofwave differ from HIFU treatments like Ultherapy, and why might I choose it instead?
Both Sofwave and Ultherapy use ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen, but their technologies and experiences differ significantly. Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound at multiple depths — including 4.5 mm at the SMAS layer — and requires real-time ultrasound imaging to navigate safely. It can produce more dramatic lifting for advanced skin laxity but is widely reported as one of the more uncomfortable non-invasive treatments available.
Sofwave’s SUPERB™ technology delivers synchronous parallel ultrasound beams at a precise, fixed depth of 1.5 mm in the mid-dermis — no imaging required. This fixed-depth approach makes treatments faster, more consistent, and significantly more comfortable. Unlike Ultherapy, Sofwave also stimulates all three key regenerative proteins simultaneously: collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid — making it a triple-action treatment.
Sofwave is also safe for all skin types and tones year-round, including darker complexions (Fitzpatrick V–VI) that carry a higher risk of pigmentation changes with other energy devices. Its built-in SofCool™ system actively protects the epidermis throughout. For mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, brow lifting, neck tightening, or acne scars, Sofwave is an exceptional — and far more comfortable — choice.
When will I see results from Sofwave, and how long do they last?
Because Sofwave works through your body’s own regenerative biology rather than surface trauma, results develop gradually and naturally. Some clients notice a subtle immediate improvement due to thermal contraction of existing collagen directly after the session.
More visible improvements — in skin texture, wrinkle depth, brow lift, and facial contour — typically emerge over the 4 to 12 weeks following treatment as neocollagenesis (new collagen formation) progresses. Clinical studies show that 86% of subjects had measurable wrinkle improvement at 3-month follow-up after a single session, and 78% showed wrinkle reduction in blinded physician evaluation.
Results from a single Sofwave session are clinically demonstrated to last 12 months or more. Most face treatments require only one session; some clients choose a second treatment 6–8 weeks later for enhanced results. Annual maintenance sessions are popular to sustain and build upon outcomes as the skin continues to age naturally.
Can I combine traditional Eastern therapies like meridian massage or cupping with modern aesthetic treatments at Yanzi?
Absolutely — and this combination is at the heart of what makes YANZI distinctive. Our philosophy is built on integrating the wisdom of traditional Eastern wellness with modern aesthetic science, and we design personalised treatment plans that draw from both traditions where appropriate.
For example, Chinese meridian massage supports lymphatic circulation, reduces tension, and restores energetic balance — which can complement and enhance the results of treatments like INDIBA or DeepRES R6 that also work to improve circulation and tissue quality. Cupping therapy promotes deep tissue release and can be particularly effective alongside body contouring programmes. Moxibustion supports overall vitality and recovery.
Our team will discuss your wellness and aesthetic goals together at your consultation and recommend an integrated programme that makes the most of both approaches. Many clients find that addressing the body holistically — through both Eastern and Western modalities — delivers more complete, lasting results than either approach alone.
How do I know which treatment is right for me — and how does Yanzi create a personalised plan?
Choosing the right treatment — or combination of treatments — is exactly what your consultation at YANZI is designed to help with. Our specialists take the time to understand your concerns, goals, skin type, health history, and lifestyle before making any recommendation.
As a general guide: if your primary concern is facial rejuvenation, skin tightening, or hair health, INDIBA handpiece or Sofwave are typically the starting point. For body contouring, cellulite, or post-surgical recovery across larger areas, DeepRES R6 is often the most efficient choice. For deeper skin laxity or volume loss, medical aesthetics such as fillers or anti-wrinkle treatments may be recommended alongside device-based treatments. For overall wellbeing, stress, or physical tension, traditional Eastern therapies form a powerful foundation.
Many clients benefit from a multi-modality approach that draws from YANZI’s full range. We never recommend more treatments than are genuinely in your interest — our goal is the most effective, personalised path to your goals, at a pace and investment that works for you.
